show rss feeds as slide show images

Now this is very interesting, this class builds a png image from rss feeds and displays them on a page. So I could have a spot on this site, showing me new rss-feeds without having to install yet another program on all computers to to waste my time to keep me informed.

From phpclasses.org:

This class can show news items from RSS feeds as images that automatically update periodically.

Each item is displayed as graphic in a single line. It uses Javascript to make the news items images be updates periodically.

Items are re-ordered by publication date, and the new items are highlighted in a special way.

The class uses the PHP GD extension to generate PNG images from the title and text of the news feed items. Author: Martin Samler Link

I certainly don’t have time to implement something like this right now but by posting it here maybe one day… *walks off dreaming*

Update: and speaking of classes, maybe I should implement something like this: Class: Pure PHP Spell Check in my wordpress. My spelling sucks leaves a lot to be desired.
